The Office of the Assistant Secretary Defense




The Materiel and Facilities (M&F) directorate for Reserve Affairs is solely responsible for providing oversight of the Guard and Reserve materiel and facilities issues, policy guidance, Reserve Material requirements, Reserve component installation requirements, and participates in the departments budgeting process for the equipping and facilities needs of the Reserve components.

The RFMSS Training Visibility System allows identification of training locations within proximity of a specified address. Nearby training locations can be further filtered by supported capabilities to ensure training needs can be sufficiently met.

 

The increased requirements for the Reserve components (RC) to protect U.S. interests abroad and during domestic emergencies has led to an intense look at RC equipment readiness and modernization.

 

Joint Service Reserve Component Facility Board program’s mission is to maximize usage of Reserve Component Land, Facilities, and Installations by promulgating Joint Use and Construction by two or more Reserve Components.
