MSgt Tina Robinson

Master Sergeant Tina M. Robinson is the First Sergeant assigned to the Air Force Reserve Command, Headquarters Recruiting Service, Robins Air Force Base, Georgia. Sergeant Robinson was born in Brooklyn, New York and grew up in Wilmington, North Carolina. In February 1986, she enlisted in the Army and arrived at Fort Jackson, South Carolina for basic training. Upon graduation, she was assigned to Schofield Barracks, Hawaii. After a 10 year break in service, in 1998, she joined the 403d Wing at Keesler Air Force Base, Mississippi as a Personnel Specialist. She served in several key positions including Assistant Chief of Customer Service, Career Enhancement and First Sergeant of the Mission Support Flight. In 2008, MSgt Robinson deployed to Al Udeid AB, Qatar where she served as a 'Desert Diamond' in support of operations IRAQI FREEDOM, ENDURING FREEDOM, and Combined Task Force HORN OF AFRICA. While deployed, MSgt Robinson earned the title of “Strongest Female in the AOR” during a Powerlifting competition. Her military awards include the Meritorious Service Medal, Air Force Expeditionary Service Ribbon, Air Force Commendation Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, AF Training Ribbon, and Army Service Ribbon. She graduated from William Carey University, Gulfport, Mississippi and earned a Master's Degree in Business Administration; she also holds two associates degrees from the Community College of the Air Force.
